December 16th: ‘Shorter Walks Near Hungerford’ – book launch

Book Launch to celebrate the publication of

Friday December 16th in the bookshop anytime between 5pm and 7pm

Join us for fizz in the bookshop and 10% off all stock to celebrate the publication of Alex’s second book ‘Shorter Walks Near Hungerford’.

Following the great success of his first book, Pub Walks Near Hungerford, Alex Milne-White decided to aim this follow-up at those who perhaps don’t have the time, energy or stamina to complete a 5 or 6 mile hike, or have children that don’t, but would still like to get out for a decent stroll in the glorious countryside at the heart of the North Wessex Downs. As the walks are shorter it wasn’t always possible to pass a pub en route, but fear not most still do and some are even pram/buggy friendly.

This is a perfect stocking filler for anyone local that likes a ramble. The book is £9.99. ‘Pub Walks Near Hungerford’ is still available.

Join us for fizz, chat, and a chance to catch-up on those last minute gifts in a more civilised (or slightly sozzled) way.
