The Honesty Cookery School & The Hungerford Bookshop present an evening with Food Writer Diana Henry on Monday September 19th at 7:30pm. The Sunday Telegraph’s award-winning food writer, Diana Henry, is the author of nine cookery books. She will be talking about her tenth – the newly published, ‘Simple: Effortless Food, Big Flavour’ (published 8th September) at The Honesty Cookery School.
No-one is better than Diana Henry at turning the everyday into something special. Here is a superb collection of recipes that you can rustle up with absolutely no fuss, but which will knock your socks off with their flavour. Peppered throughout the book are ingenious ideas such as no-hassle starters and sauces that will lift any dish.
This is everything I want from a cookbook: inspiration, intelligent company, great good-mood food, and beautiful writing.Nigella Lawson
Enjoy a glass of wine, a taster of some of the dishes from the book, before listening to Diana Henry talk to the Honesty School’s owner and food writer, Romilla Arber, about food, her work and book.
After the talk the author will be happy to answer questions and sign copies of ‘Simple’ supplied by The Hungerford Bookshop. You will also be able to purchase Romilla Arber’s cookery books.
