Friday 11th July: Emma Chapman – How to Be a Good Wife

How to Be a Good Wife

A bookshop visit as part of her indie bookshop crawl

Emma Chapman is the author of How to be a Good Wife – a perfect holiday read or discussion material for book clubs. Hilary Mantel says: “On the surface the book is a highly competent, creepy little chiller, but beneath, like a silent, bolted and half-dark room, there’s a much bigger, equally disconcerting story about the nature of feminine experience”.

Emma will be visiting our bookshop as part of her indie bookshop crawl at 2pm on July 11th.

We’ll be jotting down reasons why buying at an independent bookshop is better than shopping on-line and then taking a photo for Emma’s blog – pop in to help us, and for a signed copy of her book.
